What we collect

We only collect the details you choose to send us through the booking or contact form: your name, email address, and any notes you add. We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or third-party cookies, and we never buy or sell personal data.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, arrange your free consultation or lessons, and keep in touch about them. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before providing a service, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.

How it is stored and shared

Your details are sent to Lisa by email and used only to arrange your tutoring. They are not shared with third parties for marketing. The site is hosted on Netlify, which handles standard technical request data (such as your IP address) to serve the page securely. Our fonts are hosted on our own site, so no data is sent to outside font providers.

Students under 18

Many of our students are under 18. If you are a minor, please have a parent or guardian make the booking and give consent. We collect only the minimum needed to arrange lessons.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking details only as long as needed to provide lessons and for reasonable follow-up, then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or to stop using it, at any time. Just email Lisa@MyVirtualBiologyTutor.com and we will respond. If you are in the UK or EU, you may also contact your local data protection authority.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date above shows the latest version.
